Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Celebrates 60 years with the Bathyscaphe Men's & Women's
There is something to be said for being the first to start it all. When you think of luxury diving watches, other brands might compete for attention, but the mere mention of the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms is enough to end all discussion on which is the most important diving watch in history. Which other watch can claim to have laid down the blueprint of what we know as the essential aspects of a diving watch? From the depth requirements, the?unidirectional?bezel marking dive time, to the must-have indication of the watch's functioning, these and other?criteria?that have come to define a dive watch would not have come together had two French navy divers been satisfied with the dive watches of their dayIn fact, the Fifty Fathoms from Blancpain has such a long and storied history that if you're a diving watch?enthusiast, the basic facts should be familiar to you. Patek Golf Shirt
My AD gave me this cool Patek golf shirt when I bought my 5712 a few weeks ago but it's a size large and I'm a size small (maybe medium). Anyone get anything from there AD and interested in trading? Message if so. Just trying to find something I can actually use and someone who can actually wear this.

Fortunately here in Hong Kong they are quite easy to source so once my mind was made up it only took a few hours to locate. Special thanks to Soly (Soly20) and Dan (dddrees) for their words of enabling wisdom , as well as the beautiful pics posted by HL65, Kilyung, martinr (though I think he may have sold his), and CWIN to name a few Also, this wouldn't be possible without Jorge's (JorgeCCW) less is more philosophy that I applied in funding this purchase. You may not agree with the 5711 but I definitely feel good about letting go of some of the others and adding a keeper. Thanks, Jorge! I wanted to highlight one brilliant thing about the Nautilus that I haven't heard mentionedthe chameleon effect this watch has where it picks up/reflects the colors that it is surrounded by (i.e. the shirt you are wearing
