Giuliano Mazzuoli Carrara Watch With Marble Case
The newest watch from Italian designer Giuliano Mazzuoli is a surprisingly simple beauty with a few neat tricks up its sleeve. This is the new for 2014 Giuliano Mazzuoli Carrara watch, and it has a case made out of Italian marble stone. While stone-cased watches are quite rare, they aren't unheard of. A rare treat, nevertheless, stone watches are difficult to get right, and while I haven't seen one of the new Giuliano Mazzuoli Carrara timepieces in person (yet), the elegant design and pleasant use of materials is extremely intriguing. While previous Giuliano Mazzuoli watch designs have been (to my knowledge) exclusively inspired by the automotive world, the Giuliano Mazzuoli Carrara is the first "non-car world" watch in his collection. "Carrara" (unlike Carrera) is not from the car world, but rather a place in Italy located in Tuscany. The region is known for its stone quarries which are notable for their bluish white marble stone. Tudor Deployant Clasp
I just purchased a RubberB for my Black Bay and now I'm looking for a deployant clasp, preferably OEM. I've seen a few on eBay for about $55 that are being sold (from Latvia and Israel with free shipping ) that have the Tudor logo and look authentic but are probably knockoffs. I can't believe that an OEM clasp would sell for that price. https://m.ebay/itm/18-mm-Stainle...IAAOSwAQBauF20Should I contact Tudor directly or a Tudor AD and would they sell me just the clasp without an accompanying leather strap or should I take a chance with eBay? All comments are welcome especially from anyone who has sourced a deployant clasp, whether OEM or aftermarket.
SubC hacking question
I have not been able to find any topics on that and I know this might be a stupid question buy could some one smarter than me tell me if the following action damages my movement? When I pull the crown out on my 114060 to set the time I usually try to hack it at 12:00. But from time to time when I pull the crown out, it hacks at 11:58 for instance. What I do is I give it a l gentle push back in just a bit till tension to get the second hand moving again (not all the way till click) just to adjust those 2 seconds and let it go at 12:00. Does that do any harm to a movement or is it allowed to do it like that?
