Hublot Watch & Auction For Boxing Legends
I was with Hublot in Las Vegas for a very atypical watch event. A merging of two extremely different worlds coming together for fun, publicity, and the pursuit of mutual goals. The rowdy and often dramatic world of professional boxing has little in common with the clean lines and sober attitudes you'll find in the luxury world. The heroes of watch making are executives, designers, creative minds, and marketers. They celebrate men and women of greatness from afar, and from a public perspective the luxury and watch business has a clean and stately face.Boxing is about fighting and the clashing of personalities to evoke excitement over the next big event. It is a hard and fast life for the stars, who often fade once the glory has worn off. Only a handful move on to make something of themselves in alternative businesses once they retire from boxing. Like the champions of many sports, life after competition is usually not very interesting. Especially those who haven't handled their finances
Review of the Casio Pathfinder PAW1500T-7V On WatchReport.com
The face of a watch, like a person, often tells you quite a bit about what they are. Sometimes they're subtle and restrained, and sometimes their place in the world is writ large for all to see. The Casio Pathfinder, model number PAW1500T-7V is one of those "this is who I am, got a problem with that?" sorts of watches. After wearing it for a few weeks, I think of it as the go-to watch for the outdoors, especially if things are going to be tough: river rafting, long hiking trips, extreme sports and the like. It's probably the most capable and versatile watch I've yet seen. Incoming :) picked up a sub no date in NYC
Long time lurker. Fist time poster. I was in a work mtg and the AD at Tourneau called my wife. She texted me.... first line said OMG. I'm like crap, probably something I gotta take care of. Then she said there's a sub for u, do u want it if so,... u need to go now to pay for it. Said first come first serve. :).Looked down at my DJ41. :), Waiting for the meeting to be over. 5 mins left, 4 mins the 3. ....time to go!!! Hightailed 10+ blocks to 57th ave location. Waited for 30 mins outside...since I was there pre-store opening. Looking like an idiot in the rain. Once they opened beeline to Rolex counter... sales person working said no idea what I was talking about and that there are no subs around. Told them that their boss told me it was there. I was worried then annoyed, especially since I made the effort..... then they had to go get the manager of the store to see what's going on.Manager Came back with a green box :). No pics guys. But uber pumped. :) Talked t
Will this request 'gain traction' on here?
Can we all start using the Rolex model names instead of the ref #'s ??This drives me crazy, do I need to make myself a cheat sheet....
