Watches NEWS
Franck Muller Mystery Watch
Starting with a green spring, moving to the hot yellow colors of the summer, then on to reds of the fall, and finally to the cold blues of the winter. The stones flow on to the lugs, and baguette style stones of all different colors make up the hour markers and with trillion cut stones as the hour and minute hands. The rest of the watch is totally covered in diamonds. The "Mystery Double" (ahem, 'double mystery') part of the name comes from the two discs that moves the hour and minute indicator hands, rather than the watch having traditional hands.
Your thoughts on using MSC OEM strap on 44RG?
I am contemplating in changing the oem black strap on my 44RG to the slightly brownish (much softer feel) michael Schumacher oem rubber strap.. I am wondering anyone here have done it? Any photos? What are your thoughts?Thank you! James
5170p - incoming
Many thanks to those who offered their thoughts and advice as I contemplated this purchase. I find this watch to be absolutely stunning. I always hoped for a blue dial, platinum 5170. Patek delivered at the 2017 Basel, but with a little curve ball. The dial (blue to black from inside out) is one like I've never seen. And the diamonds are not normally my cup of tea, but they truly are subtle and make the watch both dressy and fun. Here are a few initial pics, more to follow. *The plastic will be removed once I get home.
Complications
Seen this at the boat yard , can anyone explain the complications please Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bar talk
I was at my club tonight. It's a private organization. I was wearing my Bark DD 18248. A fellow came up to the bar I noticed his watch immediately a (18038) with an aftermarket diamond bezel. I said nice watch and raised my arm and he said but mines a Rolex And I said mine is too. He chuckled and said yeah and I said oh yeah He was clueless got upset and walked away. I seem to experience this a lot when wearing the bark. My DJ gets compliments all the time but none on the DD though.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
