Bamford Watch Department Commando Edition Customized Rolex Watches
Bamford Watch Department have just launched the Commando Edition, welcoming a new era of watch customization by employing a versatile coating called Graphite Powder Coating (GPC). The Bamford Watch Department Commando Edition colour scheme offers the chance to pick-up a Rolex Submariner or Rolex Milgauss coated with one of three unique GPC colors (desert, combat, or forest). In addition to the extremely hard-wearing and aesthetically novel exterior, the famous customizers will also provide a new dial for these classic Rolex watches. The dials, which appear to be of sandwich construction, feature big, bold, luminous numbers at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, and a large downwards-pointing arrow at 12. The hands of each watch will also be repainted to match your chosen colorway. The date has also been removed on the Rolex Submariner. Bamford Watch Department knows how to transform a watch C their rsum is hard to match C but is it something that appeals to watch lovers the world over, or just a se
Fortis Andora Emotion Limited Art Edition Watch
Holy crap, what is this thing? I realize this is one of Fortis' edgy "Art Edition" watches, but wow. This is unexpected for even the art version of the serious tool watch brand's products. Limited to just 100 pieces and in a 42mm wide titanium case, this watch isn't just an (questionably bastardized) artist's rendering of a Fortis chronograph watch, but also tries to tell you how to enjoy and spend your time. How does it do that? Will look at the "suggestions" (in German) on the bezel. Set into four quadrants, with three words in each, you should have a new task each time you look at the time. Though you might disagree with the Andora watch's suggestions, and probably rightly so.The dial of the watch is where things get the most strange. Andora's drawings make up the chronograph subdials and the sub seconds dial as well. Who or what these little freaky characters are is beyond my understanding. There is more German in light text revolving the dial (see the translation of it in the tech
PIAGET Emperador Coussin XL 700P
1976. The year that brought us U2, The Clash and The Cure Whilst our ears listened to new tempos, our Swiss watches beat to the rhythm of quartz movements. Just like the 7P which Piaget brought us in 1976, the slimmest of its generation. Forty years on and the brand is still in touch with its electronic roots. The new Emperador Coussin XL 700P sees Piaget pair quartz with a great mechanism. What's the idea? The traditional escapement is replaced by a generator which produces electricity to make quartz vibrate. It's the same as dynamo hubs in bikes. What you get is no friction, no energy loss and precision that varies by 0.2s per day! The hybrid mechanism is showcased by a reverse dial-free construction meaning the hour and minute hands glide over the ultra-slim self-winding mechanical calibre. The stylish all-black timepiece oozes luxury watchmaking and high precision. Price: 70,000 CHF (118 available). Dan Diaconujaquet droz
Tried registering my pre-owned AP on the website.
Hi fellow AP owners.I just picked up my first AP (ROO Safari)....and I must say it is a stunner. My question:I tried using the serial number and warranty number to register the watch with AP. The site keeps telling me that the data is incorrect. The only thing I can think of is that the original owner registered it already and thus it won't allow me to register. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
