Jaeger-LeCoultre Hybris Mechanica Grande Sonnerie, Thoughts On The Most Complicated Watch In The World
After writing a few articles about this watch I wanted to step back and think about it a bit. To be "the world's most complicated watch," even for a short period of time is quite a feat. This is measured in terms of "complications" which tend to have generally accepted definitions and can be enumerated to watch industry professionals and enthusiasts. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Hybris Mechanica Grande Sonnerie has 26 complications. If you could count its functions, the number does not reach 26 of course. In fact, let's count the number of functions that it has in a nutshell. It shows the time (hour, minute, and seconds) - three functions. It has a perpetual calendar function that shows the day, date, month, and leap year - another four functions. The watch has a complex sonnerie (chiming) mechanism that has a three different chimes plus a minute repeater - another four functions. Then you have two power reserve indicators - two more functions.? If you count those up, you get 16 complications.
The Hermes "In The Pocket" Watch For The Only Watch Auction
More news from the Only Watch auction: Hermès has just released that it will be including the "In The Pocket" watch in the line up for the November 7 charity auction.Originally, the "In The Pocket" watch was inspired by the porte-oignon given to Jacqueline Herme?s by her father in 1912. The porte-oignon allowed Jacqueline, a keen horsewoman, to fasten her pocket watch to her wrist while she remained active. 1 OF 3 The design was re-designed and released in 2012 with the name "In The Pocket." The piece has returned to the market with a unique combination of rose gold case, black dial, and fitted into a H red Swift calfskin holster. The watch is 40 mm in diameter and becomes 49 mm in diameter when placed in the holster. The watch had a subsidiary seconds dial at 4 o'clock. The caliber H1837 automatic movement was made in-house and has 28 jewels. 2 OF 3 3 OF 3 For more information information on the Only Watch a

Service Experience
Hi all,So, took ownership of a new 15400 in June. It has been running about 5 minutes/day fast whilst on my wrist, and about a minute a day fast when it is not. How has your experience been with AP service? I emailed them, and the guy got back to me promptly. I'm curious to know if you were satisfied. It is still under warranty (for another 2.5 years), so it shouldn't cost me anything. Additionally, I've dinged her up a bit (almost daily wearer, now) and they quoted 250 to polish up the piece. If anyone has done that, does this include a bezel replacement?I'm a little hot after a 500$ Omega servicing that did almost nothing, considering in that instance I DIDN'T want the bracelet polished. Thanks in advance, guys.JJustinOmega SMP (1x Iraq, 2x AFG, still ticking)AP Royal Oak 15400, White
Nautilus with diamond and ruby bezel
I saw these 5711/1R with diamond and ruby baguettes on the bezel at the AD.Are these collector's items for Nautilus lovers or are they just too much jewelry for mens watches? They are both available at over $100K USD each and produced in limited quantity.
