Ronin Watches ?appeared on the ?scene a year ago with their first model, the Ronin Pilot. Owner Phil started the brand after lusting after more expensive pilot watches. Finding them to be too pricey, he founded Ronin Watches with the motto "quality watches at prices that make sense." His goal was to make watches people wanted out of quality materials yet keep the cost down so that they were affordable. So far the brand has offered two models that fit into that mission statement.The Ronin Pilot?fit that philosophy very well: priced at $265 the watch had a hand-wind Asian movement, sapphire crystal, a well built case offered in 44m or 47mm, and good luminescence as well. Their follow-up model, also in the pilot’s watch style, was the Rotomatic. A smaller watch at 42mm with a simpler, cleaner design, the Rotomatic was limited to 60 pieces, each one hand inspected before delivery. Panerai America's Cup Watches
I am curious if these watches are or will be something special. I have found one trading over MSRP and little or no hype elsewhere. Curious as to others thoughts here.

Panerai's luster
I just got back from Vegas (excess capital of America) and noticed that there where a lot fewer Panerais on the wrists of people than in the past. Cesar's has a boutique now, but the big T has moved the Panerai display to the back of the store. Is panerai starting to lose its luster? I know its a brand a lot of people love to bash, but though as Panerai has become more mainstream, I thought would see more. Don't get me wrong, I switched from Rolex to get away from the hey I have the same watch crowd. And like the exclusivity, but kind of got the feeling that Panerai was no longer desirable.

White Gold Rolesor Bracelet on Sky Dweller?
Can the bracelet on a Sky Dweller model number 326934 have white gold in it? The Rolex website indicates it is steel, but I was wondering perhaps about previous years? A seller is trying to tell me the bracelet is a combination of steel and white gold, but I can't find such a combination anywhere on the internet.
