Watches NEWS
Magrette Leoncino Watch
When it comes to watches from Magrette, you know precisely what you're getting from their lineup. Sure, there are various stylistic differences to the pieces, and movements changed around, but you knew if you dug through their catalog, you'd see cushion-cased divers, plain and simple. Or at least, that's the way things used to beCa new challenger has appeared! With the introduction of the Leoncino (aka Little Lion), they've looked to the 1960s for inspiration, and have come up with a new case design for the line. From the images we've seen so far, this looks to be a fairly bold design, with rounded edges on the rectangular (42mm x 49mm) case. With the introduction of the new case, Magrette also took the opportunity to introduce a new design for both the crown and the buckle. While the crown isn't anything earth-shattering, I do rather like the details showing up in the buckle, which is a smaller component that's often overlooked.Once you get past all the new details and have another loo
New 15400 Owner
I've had it for two days and can't get over how the white/silver dial reflects light. It is so comfortable, so beautiful, so mesmerizing. I've almost wrecked my car due to my being distracted in traffic.
Breitling Grey Avenger Seawolf...B Team Complete!
My fifth Breitling arrived today, a Grey SS Avenger Seawolf! I can now field a full B Team in time for March Maddness. Last year I picked up a Yellow Seawolf and simply loved the model. I saw a Grey Seawolf and knew I needed that one in the collection as well. Its rare to see a Grey faced watch and found it stunning! So now my starting line up...at center SOH, at point guard Superocean, at shooting guard Superocean Steelfish, at forward Yellow Avenger Seawolf and introducing at power forward Grey Avenger Seawolf!
So...case changes
Hey all, haven't been around the block lately but with all this Basel news, I'm genuinely curious; has there been a case redesign?? I've been staring at the new Deep Sea's stock picture and the old one's for about a half hour now trying to discern this mythical change!I am very bitter about the blocky lugs and have nearly sworn off modern Rolex for that reason alone. If this is a return, I am beyond excited but I'm not seeing it.Anyways, I really need to update the signature; I've made some changes to the ol' collection recently!
Which pieces better with leather strap?
Hi all,I tried searching but haven't found much direct information on this. Hope you won't mind me posting a new thread asking this.I have been thinking through what to do on a dressier piece with leather strap. Been looking at JLCs and a few others. However, I have seen a few posts about current and older Rolex pieces that could work very well with leather straps making them dressier pieces. I have also seen some Tudor pictures as well.If you have experience with this, please share your experiences and thoughts as to which rolex pieces could work well with leather straps and pictures are always helpful as well! Thanks in advance for any help!
