New Panerai Caliber P.999 Powers Radiomir 42 mm
At SIHH Officine Panerai presented the P.999, a new hand-wound mechanical movement entirely designed, developed and produced at the Neuchatel manufacture. The new movement has a 12 ligne or 27.44 mm diameter, making it suitable for Panerai’s smaller timepieces like the Radiomir 42 mm. Caliber P.999 has 19 jewels, a single barrel providing a 60-hour power reserve and small seconds at 9 o'clock. It is comprised of 154 components and beats at 3 Hz or 21,600 alternations/hour. Equipped with adjusting screws, the balance wheel is protected by an Incabloc anti-shock device. This caliber is available in 2 versions: P.999 has a swan neck regulator and polished edges, and P.999/1 has raquette adjustment and sand-blasted edges, and these movements are individually numbered.The Radiomir 42mm has a polished steel case, screw-down crown, sapphire display back, and a 1.5 mm thick anti-reflective sapphire crystal. Is their any AP's that are aligned with any companies like Rolex did with Dominos, Comex, etc?Or any made for heads of state with royal crests?

Omega Speedmaster 145.012 or 105.012 question
Guys,Seen this at my local and they are listing it for a pretty low price.Dial seems intact - hands have been replaced I think.Tried looking up the added value of the Meister German seller on the dial but could not seem to find much.Also - on the case back on the inside I see a 105 012 66 as well as a 145 012 SP marking...Thanks anything helps. Is this a steal, or a project?

I am thinking of getting an Explorer 216570 with the black dial. The prices on them look very good. I have never seen one in the flesh. Is the black dial a matte finish or shiney? Hard to tell from looking at pictures. Thanks!

PCL's - If you're OCD, might not be the route to go.
Well, it's been one week to the day that I purchased both a TT Submariner along with a DateJust for my wife. My watch, the oyster bracelet. Hers, the jubilee. By comparison, hers looks amazing. Mine, meh. Don't get me wrong, it's still beautiful/gorgeous, etc. etc. But those PCL's pick up more scratches than a flea bitten dog on a lazy summer's day. I mean one could sneeze on this bracelet and it'll show a micro scratch marking. lol. I know I know, no big thing as they can all be polished to brand new upon servicing. Regardless, if you're one who is crazy OCD about scratches, might want to rethink PCL's. I know I was looking at getting a GMT Master II this week but the PCL's on that one are making me rethink the whole deal. Anyone else see this or am I just spending far too much time looking at the bracelet and then going, What the hell!?
