Victorinox Swiss Army Watches To Reach Customers Via iPhone App
You've been hearing about watch makers creating iPhone app versions of their watches, but Victorinox Swiss Army has taken the concept to the next step. In addition to including digital versions of their watches (not likely all of their watches) they are using the "always connected" feature of the iPhone and the power of the iPhone app to keep potential customers up-to-date with the latest watches and news from the company. In fact, you can even locate authorized dealers right from the application. It will use the iPhone's built in GPS to located the nearest store to you. Thinking of trading BLNR for Elephant or 26400SO
Hey all, I am looking for opinions on this swap. I have a NIB BLNR and am thinking of swapping it for one of the above. I had planned to just add one of the above but also have a HULK which kind of fills my SS Rolex.Only thing is I can not seem to find a 44mm ROO locally to try on so I would be taking a big leap on that one. Downside to the Elephant is the SS bezel. I have OCD issues, so the thought of that getting scratched up makes me nervous to go that route. :)I was originally wanting to go with a 15300 or 15202 but I think I would like something a bit more bold.Any thoughts?ThanksD

what to look for when buying used PP "complicated "
I ask because I am buying a lightly used, somewhat complicated 5170. I have seen pictures of the watch and paperwork and all looks good. I am doing the transaction face to face in the seller's office. (Out of State for me but I happen to be there next week).I have no reason to be believe that their should be a problem (seller is more than happy for me to come to his office) but is there something I should look for?
Issue with my 5167 should I care to take it to Patek?
As some of you know I bought a lovely 5167 and I love the watch.. All my other watches are locked away indefinatly.. Yesterday on the 23'rd my day was not completly in the datebox. 2/3 of it was on 23 and 1/3 still on 22. Today on the 24th it is fine again.. I am not a stickler that is going to go crazy or lose sleep over it but I also do not want it to turn into a larger problem when the watch in out of warrenty. The watch is not even 6 months old yet but I am the 2nd owner but that should not be a issue for the warrenty correct? I also do not want to be without the watch for weeks or months so what would you do? Did anyone ever notice this on there 5167?
