The Rarest And Most Expensive Patek Philippe Watches
The name Patek Philippe is among the most powerful in the entire watch industry. It is synonymous with class, conservatism, high auction values, price legitimacy, and some of the best looking traditional watches now or ever made. Patek Philippe remains an independent company whose secrets and plans are tightly guarded, and its most exclusive watches often go directly from the factory to the hands of the world's most prestigious collectors - never to be displayed in a store counter or window. When it comes to high-end timepiece auction prices, Patek Philippe leads the pack easily dominating all other watch makers in regard to achieving regular, record-setting prices. Most Patek Philippe watches that yield not-so-small fortunes during auctions as extremely rare, often unique pieces made for special collectors. Anyone else take this route?
Hey everyone! First time in this neck of the woods so be nice I have always been a Rolex and Omega guy. I recently acquired my first Panerai and as you can guess I have my heart set on a Royal Oak as my next watch. For lack of a better term, the Royal Oak 15400st has been sort of a grail for me, except unlike most true grails, I can own this watch one day. The question is, when? I've recently blown through my toy budget, so no matter what my next watch will likely not arrive in the very near future. Especially since venturing into the $15,000 range for a watch will take me a little while to be ready to commit. With that said, there are of course other, cheaper watches that I love. There are always Rolexes on my radar, but there is one watch out there that has a similar look to the RO, in fact along with the Royal Oak, it comes from the genius mind of Grald Genta. It's the IWC Ingenieur 3239.In the pre-owned market it can be had for more than $7k savings compared to the RO. The des
Speedmaster retro'd with new clasp
I know it has been done before but I thought I would show mine. Just bought the links and clasp from the Omega boutique in KOP, PA. I was in between links and the newer bracelet does not have half links. Fits perfect now!IMG_3296.jpg
Speedmaster Professional Accuracy?
I've recently purchased a Speedmaster Professional and I've got a question on the accuracy. It's gained 4 minutes in roughly 14 days? I know some machanicals gain or loose a certain amount but what is acceptable? Probably more to the point is it worth sending back to AD, would they adjust it or send back to Omega. How would this compare with a Rolex GMT or Sub?
If Rolex release a Red letter Submariner
Hi everyone. I will have the opportunity to pick up a SS43. Given the baselworld teasing/ speculation, Rolex may release a Submariner with red letter. Will you get the Submariner with red letter or Sea Dweller with red letter?
