Ltd. Edition Sir Edmund Hillary Rolex Explorer
Last month, we reported that a classic collection of Rolex watches belonging to the Mount Everest conqueror Sir Edmund Hillary is headed to the auction. If you failed to hang one of precious timepieces, there is another chance to watch to pay tribute to the great adventurer. The new series of Tenzing Hillary Explorer is a limited edition of hree variations on the classic Explorer Rolex worn by Sir Edmund on his historic climb in 1953. The price of $39,000 and limited to only 88 examples, the watch (above) is also known as Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, who made the ascent of Mount Everest with him.

Hi All,I am considering selling my two Hublot watches so I can buy the AP 15202. I used to be a big Hublot fan, but I recently found myself growing out of the brand and looking to resizing my collection to fewer watches but with more value and history. I currently own Rolex submariner 16610 and 16613, Rolex Milgauss GV and a PAM392. My question is do you think I should be selling my two Hublot watches to buy the AP 15202? I know this is an AP forum and most of us here love AP, but I would greatly appreciate your unbiased opinion. I am not considering selling any of my other watches as I truly love each one of them. The Hublots I am kind of bored of them and they don't get enough wrist time. However, again I am wondering if it is worth it to lose two watches to buy one watch. Also, does the AP 15202 retain its value? If I am to sell the Hublots I will be losing a good amount of money. I don't want this to be the case if I ever decide to sell the AP. Newbie/Aspiring Collector
Hello everyone and thanks in advance for your input here. Over the last couple years I've built what I think is a nice stable of watches that I love and wear as circumstances allow. (you should be able to see in auto sig)Now that I feel as though I have most of the watches that I really want/need, I would like to shift my spending towards longer term value and collectibility. Could you please offer some advice on a nice combination of value, future appreciation/speculation and uniqueness?
