Looking to get my first AP.
Hello all, first time posting in the AP section of the forums. I am on the hunt for my first Audemar and i am looking at the 15400 with a white or black dial i'm not sure yet on color.I have a collection of 4 rolex watches (yacht-master, Day-Date, datejust and a datejust ii) and have had AP on my mind for awhile.Im looking to see what others that made the jump from rolex to AP think of this watch. I do not live by an AD to try one before i buy so that is a down for me.
strap for Diver vs strap for ROO chronograph
Need advice here please. Are they the same size which can be used together?
Super Avenger has taken in water! =(
Hello everyone,I'm really bummed and would like your comments and knowledge on this.Last night I decided to put my SA on a leather strap, and proceeded to remove the bracelet. When I did so, I noticed the watch was a bit dirty between the lugs, so I washed it with a bit of soap at the bathroom sink. Before doing this, I made completely sure the crown was fully screwed in. After the wash, I dried the watch with a towel AND some soft toilet paper. After this, I unscrewed the crown to wind the watch and set the right time and date. All went well and my SA looked terrific on leather. This morning, however, after wearing the watch out in the sun, I noticed condensation underneath the crystal! Needless to say my heart sank. The condensation actually formed in the shape of the chronographs and hands. The only way I can imagine water may have gotten into the watch is when, AFTER drying the watch with a towel AND toilet paper, I unscrewed the crown to set the time and date. Has this ever happen
very interested in PO8500
but at 15mm thickness will it fit shirt cuffs???pam112 is at 15mm thick and definitely doesnt fit under shirt cuffs. but its at 44mmmaybe the 42mm case diameter will make a differenceim afraid if it doesnt its a deal breaker :(why cant omega just make conventional sized watches....
Omega Serial # / Approx Year of Mfg Chart?
Does one exist? Can you easily tell roughly when your Omega was made via the serial ala Rolex???
