Casio G-Shock 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Lightning Yellow Watches
Along with a host of other watches Casio releases the Lightning Yellow collection for the 30th Anniversary of Casio G-Shock. As they say, they intended to capture the "G-Shock toughness" in this shockingly?vivid color, and that "this collection seamlessly combines the legendary shock resistant structure with high performance functionality." That may very well be true, but for now, the only thing I feel in this ~110 Fahrenheit summer haze is the vibrant yellow color cunningly growing on me. I really do need something cool in this (almost) melting room - and one of these just might be it!The one sporting the latest design of the lot is to the left on the image below: the Casio G-Shock GDX6930E-9. Seems familiar? Rightfully so, as the Casio G-Shock GDX6930 belongs to the brand new Casio G-Shock XL 6900 family - a larger, more wrist-dominant version of the best-seller DW6900. My Breit
So Miss Whatshername usually wears my Breit. She seems to like it and I think it looks sexy as hell on her. On the other hand, she says I look like Indiana Jones when I wear it, which can't be bad, right? Hell, she even looks like Karen Allen. But occasionally I steal it back. After a couple of repairs from Breitling themselves, 4 years on, and going strong (which means I just hexed it!).Cheers (and yes Doc, it's the one I bought from you).

Same Mindset as w/ a Rolex?
In the sense of natural scratches and swirls and whatnot?For many in the Rolex world, they still see them as tool watches. I do not agree. I see them as jewelry. However, I wear mine as if it is a too and I don't mind scratches if they are not too bad. I am pretty comfortable doing anything with it. I do realize that many freak out about scratching their Rolex watches, but many also don't. That said, with my new 5167, I am noticing that I am picking up some desk diving scratches and I have banged it once or twice. That is less than a week. I had zero problems with this with any of my Rolex watches. And truthfully, I think I don't care with this one either. But I am curious what this forum thinks. Do you guys baby your Patek? Do they get natural marks? Do they age with experience? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thank you,
