I like to post about these milestones -they feel important to me. I've written over 1000 aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer articles. And I must remind myself that I also regularly write for a few other sites such as Luxistwatches-dealer, AskMenwatches-dealer, and more (see all my current work on the About page here). Open caseback and void your warranty??
I just learning that if you open your Omega while it still is under warranty, you VOID it. So the question is, can anyone tell me how they would know? Is there something inside that tells them if it was opened by someone other than a non-AD?

Question for the SD 16600 lovers......
I'm currently looking at two seadwellers for sale, model 16600. Both are A serial numbers, one is a Swiss only dial and one is a Swiss made dial. I just want to be sure that the inserts are original on both. The Swiss only Dial has a pointed 4 insert, which is different than all A-serial pieces I have seen. They all seem to come with a flat 4 insert, which is the insert that is on the Swiss made piece for sale. I prefer the Swiss only watch because it is a complete set, but I'm concerned that it may be a service insert. Sorry I can't post any pictures as both watches are currently for sale and I don't want to violate the sellers in any way. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Do you use your Rolex to check the time?
I'm worried that constantly lifting and turning my wrist to check the time will damage the movement. Anyone else have the same concern? I'm thinking of getting a beater for my other wrist to tell time, and save the Rolex for when I need to impress a woman when she asks me what time it is.
