Picked up a Navitimer!
Well, after a few months of deliberation - I completely did the unexpected! A little back story here... For a while now, I've been looking at the Rolex Explorer II (42mm) and finally decided it was time to pick it up.I walked into my local AD, and had the Explorer II on my wrist ready to go. Something seemed off to me, it just wasn't sitting right on my wrist. So I waltzed over to the Breitling section, and tried on the Navitimer - and it just felt perfect to me. 24 Hours in, absolutely loving my purchase. This isn't to say I won't pick up a Rolex down the road - but there was something about this watch that I just had to have! What do you guys think?
Confused about SMP
New member here. Very pleased to be here!I've been a Breitling man for the last 12 years or so but am now looking at a new SMP. They are very nice I am confused though and wonder if somebody can put me right.I see posts about a quartz model. I wouldn't want to buy one of those by accident and I'm wondering how to tell the difference. Do they have quartz written on the dial? Many thanks.
Inner workings of PP
There are numerous threads with pics of the various PP models and watch faces, how about a topic that just shows the inner workings of the Patek(s) in your collection.Il start:Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Finally I did it too
My first Patek. Aquanaut 5167. What a wonderful and comfy watch! It is a ding magnet though! I'd call it a ghost watch as you can barely feel it on your wrist. My first Patek, but I don't think it will be my last.
Rolex AD price-forming policies
Hi,I am curious whether there is a rule/obligation for all authorized Rolex/Tudor ADs to sell the watches at the official MSRP lists? Can the ADs profit by adding extra on top these prices? In case this is a normal practice, let me know. I have the feeling that it is not, but I am not certain.A local EU AD just told me prices over the phone which are approx 10% more than the list price. Could that be a mistake?ThanksSent from my MI 5 using Tapatalk
