Powerful Blue Piece Uniques By Patek Philippe, F.P. Journe, & Voutilainen For Only Watch 2015
Several more of the piece unique watches for the Only Watch 2015 charity watch auction have been revealed today, including these models from Patek Philippe, F.P. Journe, and Kari Voutilainen. Only Watch itself seems to be doing nothing, but rather, Bacs & Russo at Phillips is not only managing the information releases for the event, but also the auction itself. This is one of the first major events for Bacs & Russo and they are trying to make as big a splash as possible.High-end watch makers Patek Philippe, F.P. Journe, and Kari Voutilainen aren't new to the Only Watch auction game, and their Only Watch 2015 entries will likely be stars of the show. Basically, a Patek Philippe always steals the event with wild prices for their piece unique models. For Only Watch 2013 (the most recent event), the Patek Philippe 5004T in titanium went for almost 3,000,000 Euros. Patek's entry this year is a version of the discontinued 5016 in steel. 15202st booked and on its way in 2-3 months.Want a watch which I can wear with the rubber or leather strap and at a same time should feel little hefty on wrist. Considering the 15400st blue dialDiver and Offshore I didn't like much.
Speedmaster Pro
Everyone out there, im loving this forum! been said before in many newbie threads but this is the ultimate place for info so i thought id ask a question regarding an upcoming and first big dollar watch purchase for me.I live in Australia and have priced the Omega Speedmaster Pro with the sapphire case front and back (mod 3573.50.00)- here i can get it duty free for $3800 Ausd or about $3200 USD.Im travelling to the USA in 17 days and am not sure whether it will be worth waiting and buying when im there. If there will be no saving i would prefer and feel safer buying here before i leave.Any advice/recommendations/past experience with dealers in the US. Btw- i will be visiting LA, Vegas, Washington DC, NYC and San Fran.Thank youChris
Adding a 5980/1A
I was thinking of trading my 5712r for a 5980/1a, but then decided to keep it due to the dial preference and the gold value, however I'm now leaning towards of buying the 59801/a intead of trading for it,Is it really worth getting it since I already have a nautilus? Btw a friend is selling his 5980/1a for 34k USD, 7 months old and 99% new which is really tempting, should I go for it?
