Rebellion T-1000 Watch
Rebellion ups the power reserve ante with REB T-1000 manually wound mechanical movement in the watch with the same name (minus "REB"). Through six barrels the movement stores 1000 hours of power reserve. What I want to know is how long do you need to wind the watch, for it to go from totally unwound to fully wound? Mechanically, the movement isn't super complex. It has been specially designed to be symmetrical, which is interesting. All the "guts" are squeezed in the middle, and the balance wheel has been exposed in a unique way. It reminds me of a flattened Corum Golden Bridge movement. The real cool part of the movement is the six mainspring barrels that contain all the power, and are connected via the chain transmission. Time of course it told on the two moving cylinders. There is also said to be a power reserve indicator. An interesting exercise in mechanics and design from Rebellion. AP Closed ?
I've been shopping for a new gray market 15400 ST Silver dial and they are a little hard to find at a good price. Some of the gray dealers and the AP Botique in Las Vegas told me that AP shuts down for a period in the summer and stops shipping out new watches. Can anyone elaborate on this? Maybe I'm a little confused.

Any news on 2016 Baselworld CK2998?
Just wondering if anyone has heard from their OB or AD on the estimated arrival of their CK2998?I know its only June and Omega said July release but has anyone spoken to or heard if they will actually arrive in July? I mean July is end of this week!Or will this turn out to be another Snoopy fiasco, where watches are STILL not all delivered?My OB (in NY) said July but wasn't able to elaborate further on any additional news.

what are your thoughts on the new mark ll? i don't have it but would like to hear the feedback. considering mark ll or 9300 44mm speedy.

Omega Speedmaster Professional 50th Anniversary LE
Yesterday evening I received a call from my AD informing me of the arrival of the Omega Speedmaster 50th Anniversary LE. I paid him a visit, took a look at the watch, out came my wallet, and now I am a proud owner of this admirable timepiece from Omega with a distinguished history.This is the all steel version with the traditional 1861 movement. I chose this because the 1861 movement is descended from the original Speedy movement which actually went into outer space. The other pricier versions had the new 3201 co-axial manual wind movement which is totally unrelated to the original Speedy Pro. Also I did not like the sapphire sandwich case of the other versions.I'll be posting more pics later at the watch gallery section.
