Outgoing Rolex INcOMING Patek No 2...
Greetings folks,,Recently I have been thinking that I dont give my Rolex WG SkyDweller enough wrist time so decided to trade it in for a Patek, the question was which one, so looked around and started to warm to the SS 5711 and 5712.. After looking around at pics of both pieces here from owners of both I eventually went for the 5712 due to the more interesting dial and love that moonphase feature... Most people dont care for a moonphase BUT as I fly for a living mostly during the night I like the idea of knowing where the moon is..Enjoy the pics
40MM Pam for smaller wrists?
I know there aren't any current Luminars being made at 40 MM.Were there any popular ones from the past though?I love the California dial Radiomirs very much, and only wish they had that dome crystal on a 40mm size. Sadly they only make them at 47mm I believe. Was there one made at a smaller size in the past with a domed acrylic crystal?Any guys out there with smaller wrists that have a small sized PAM?I have tried the bigger ones, and even though I understand they are meant to have a big look, they just look funny on my very tiny wrists.Cheers guys!
What are ur best watch box/case brands for carrying/storing your Rolexes in 1 place?
I wanted to ask TRF what are your best watch box/carrying cases for your multiple Rolex timepieces and other precious watches. 6-12 slots is the ideal.Suitcase style? Window display? Permanent on dresser or carrying style? I'm open to options and styles and wanted to hear what the experts here on TRF use.(I'm currently using 6 slot leather watch roll and have my Rolex timepieces laying all over the place and different rooms. I now have more than 6 and figured a larger and more appropriate solution to properly store my watches would be prudent)Leaving name of company and type of case in your reply would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for TRFs help!
Sport watch for every day... max 40mm
I'm stuck ! I have a 39 mm OP Blue dial - love it ! Almost too much to wear every day Also have a Tudor Black bay blue ...The Sub no date would be a good choice but I have tried it on several times and find it just too large for me The black bay is a tad large but wearable / sub is just bigger I'd like to stay in the current line up - Thought abut the Explorer ? It's in the running but something about it has not clicked What else should be in the running ?.... I'd like to stay with Rolex
