The New Ultimate Casio Pathfinder (PAW1500) from WatchReport.com
Two years ago, I wrote an article called The Ultimate Casio Pathfinder in which I raved about the PAW1200 series. This was the first time Casio had combined their atomic and solar technologies with their famous Triple Sensor (digital compass, altimeter, barometer, and thermometer). A year later, I reviewed what I considered to be the new ultimate Casio Pathfinder C the PAW1300 C which is essentially the same watch in a significantly slimmer package. Today, I'm extremely pleased to introduce what even Casio is now referring to the Ultimate Pathfinder: the PAW1500 series.Click on the above text for the full article at WatchReportwatches-dealer. Patek 5167 overpriced or just me?
So I'm contemplating getting an aquanaut. Beautiful, quality, versatile piece. My one hesitation is that it feels a bit over priced. I mean we're talking 3 hands, a date and a rubber strap. I get that it holds value and is supreme quality and all that, but how much of it is simply marketing and brand name? I can spend a couple more grand and get a beautiful white gold Daytona, which is precious metal, more complicated, and a beautiful, high quality piece as well. They al hold their value if you get it at the right price.Don't get me wrong, I love the 5167, but I feel like it should be priced $5k less. My wife used to be in fashion and I would always say, how does Versace charge $400 for a t-shirt, it's ridiculous! She would go into the arguement about the quality and craftsmenship and exclusivity and all that. Now I ask her and she agrees, you're paying a lot of extra purely for the brand, it's all just marketing. So 5167 or no? Is it worth it or just go for the wg Daytona!?Really curio
5116R vs 5119R What is the difference
As the title says what is the difference? Thanks
New blue. My first PP
Well, buying and to own a PP is always very emotional, especially my first ever PP. This blue has been with me for close to a week now. A perfect way to celebrate my birthday. Thank you guys for your comment and suggestion earlier. I have afterall decided to get this new 5712a. Got it with a bit of haircut through one of the resourceful agent here. PPSC HK told me that this is the first time they ever handled a new pin bracelet, as opposed to old screw bracelet. Some of the watch lovers may not like this new pin bracelet which doesnt look sophisticated. But PPSC told me that this pin is indeed more secured comparing with old screw which may get loosen after a couple of years.Sorry for my bad BB pictures. Cant wait to share with you guys my first PP.This blue boy is a bit shy. Thanks for viewing.
Wrist shots while warming up the car
The temperature was around -5 F / -25 C the other morning, so I took some wrist shots while the car warmed up before heading out into the world. Even with the extreme cold, I don't like to wear a bulky coat while driving :xSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
