Tried some new heavyweights
Wanted to share a couple of pics The yellow gold and blue dial go together extremely well. The blue is very rich and combined with the YG and ceramic pushers.. winner! Now... this thing is a MONSTER! The heaviest watch I've ever put on. Calling it a 'brick' is an understatement. Dial is interesting. I'll let you guys decide.
superocean 42 mm black or blue
I'm looking to pick up a new Breitling superocean 42 Chrono and I'm debating over black or blue please feel free to give me your thoughts and your suggestions I do already own an Alpina Chrono alpiner in blue and I also have a Oris Aquis in blue.My 116710 is Black so im thinking black but then to have all but the Rolex on in black is cool too.....
Picked up the black calf and ceramic/Ti deployment for the dsotm.
Finally picked up the black leather calf with white stitching and Ceramic/Ti buckle. It fits great and more balanced on the wrist then the nylon band. Also the deployment buckle makes it much easier to take the watch on and off.image.jpg

My First Rolex - wahoo!!
So after many years of watch collecting I finally joined the family. I jumped around to different Rolex models and couldn't make up my mind. In the end the deciding factor for my first one came down to two important features. It needed to be ceramic so that it wouldn't scratch easy and the glidelock feature. My wrist is 7.75 and most watches I own are either loose or tight. Very hard to have that perfect fit and be comfortable. This will not be my last Rolex. Short list below of my choices: Short list (1 will be next purchase):1. Submariner (Date/ND)- I didn't want to get a Sub because they are so common and almost clich. There is a reason though why they are so well looked upon. ND was classic and loved the symmetrical dial. Date is nice to have, but I never use it really. 2. Yachtmaster blue dial- Gorgeous watch and is my second favorite. Didn't purchase due to possibility/likelihood of scratches on bezel. I like the PCL, but hate the scratches3.
