Someone should do there homeworkScript taken from the .golf/golf-gold/wrist-...id=golf_socialFew Tour pros bring the bling like Poulter, who wasn't his usual assassin self at the 2014 Ryder Cup at Gleneagles but was a big part of show of the celebration. So was his Audemars Piquet Royal Oak. With a retail price of $27,900, the watch is water-resistant. Champagne resistant, too.
Would this bother you?
I took my black SMP to a local watchmaker for servicing. He has worked on other watches I own and I think he does a good job.The watch looked good when I picked it up -- all the old scratches and nicks had been buffed out.But when I got it home I noticed that the polished ends on the center links were now satin. He'd buffed the whole bracelet, so the center link no longer had the contrasting polished sides.Overall the bracelet looks a better w/o the scratches and I usually wear it on a black rubber strap, so I'm not THAT bothered....BUT...I am kind of irritated. Don't you think he should have kept the original look of the watch?
