Decisions...Decisions...
Hi Folks,As a relative newbie to all things AP, I come seeking advice Over the past few months I have become increasingly enamoured with two particular watches, the AP Panda and Sub LV (16610LV) and cannot quite seem to make up my mind about which to go for!The way I see it, I have two options:a) Sell my GMT 16750 and Tudor Black Bay and throw in an additional 5k for the APb) Buy the LV, and keep those two. What would you do in my situation? Sell two and add cash for the AP? Or Keep two and add the LV? Additionally, as I have never owned AP watches before is there anything in particular I should be aware of in terms of upkeep and servicing etc?All thoughts are appreciated The deal would look something like this...Goodbye to:And welcome to either:Or(credit to original photographers on the AP and LV)
Need help with a 007 bond watch
Saw a cool looking omega bond watch at the local ad. It had the blue dial with swirls like a camera shutter. List was 3900 and I could get it for 3200. It ws numbered to 10000 which seems like alot to me. He had two of the black bond editions but the blue with the swirl dial looked awsome. Can it be had for less than 3100? Posting from my iPhone so please bear with me.
Ultimate grail INcOMING...
Greetings gents,,,As some of you know I have been lusting after the 5131J/R for few years. Being an airline captain flying around the globe week in week out I thought this amazing piece would be fitting to own and one day and look at all the cities and World enamel dial knowing I have touched down all over it would be an amazing achievement. After knocking on doors all over the World at various Patek Philippe ADs and even writing a personalized letter direct to Mr Stern I soon realised this piece is mission impossible anywhere near retail price.. Anyway cut a long story short I recently parted with my gorgeous 5980R and 5712 (very reluctantly this one) added some cash and finally got my hands on a sealed 5131R from a good friend here in Dubai. I am over the moon with the watch as it typifies everything that Patek is about with the calavatra style case and enamel dial of the World, and the Rose gold is awesome too.Hope you enjoy few photos and I am sure I will be adding more soon..
