Luminox Tony Kanaan Limited Edition Watch Version 2
The first limited edition watch created as a partnership between Indy Car driver Tony Kanaan and Luminox was such a success that less than a year later another is already out. Instead of just being a watch with a famous racer's name on it, Kanaan (being a major watch lover), and Luminox worked really closely together on the design. While Tony could have easily worked with a number of higher-end brands, he really wanted to make sure that his friends could afford the watch with his name on it. His friends were working with brands like Audemars Piguet - and while they created some beautiful timepieces, they didn't make a lot of sense for? the fans with prices around $70,000.Luminox was a great partner for Tony to create a watch, and Tony was a good fit for Luminox because he is just a very personable, and friendly guy. I had a nice meeting with Mr. Kanaan to discuss the watch, the partnership, and what the future will hold for the two. Tony was very proud to show off a very cool timepiece
Sinn Model 243 Ti M Ladies Watch
Did you know that Sinn makes ladies' watches? Not too many of them, but they do. They are nice pieces - not what I would call pretty, but certainly handsome. To visualize this concept I am adding an image of a Greek statue of a woman. Handsome right? Not exactly "wow she is hot." Sinn ladies' watches are nicely made, easy to read, and feminine - but not girl. I think of them as being worn by some German nurse named Hilda who probably moonlights as a bartender with a permanent serious look on her face. So new for 2010 is a "mocha" version in titanium of their 243 watch collection - called the Sinn 243 Ti M.At 28mm wide, this tonneau shaped watch has a great finish for a titanium case. The proportions arestatuesque and classic. Why titanium? Really not sure. The light metal is popular on large men's watches to make them feel lighter. Aside from being hypo-allergenic, it isn't clear to me why a small women's watch needs to be lighter. As it is, the watch is 20 grams. But Sinn likes titani
Inherited De Ville from Great Grandfather
Hello everyone, I'm new around here and I just wanted to post a couple pictures of the old Omega De Ville 14k YG I inherited from my great grandfather on my mother's side. It had been sitting in a box in a drawer for the past few decades, and so after taking it for a checkup and cleaning, it is now a very enjoyable and meaningful part of my attire.
5712/1a or 5396g
Hi guys, which one would you prefer - 5712/1A Stainless Steel or the new 5396G (Grey Dial)? I have ordered the 5712 but it is gonna take a year to arrive. I saw the new 5396G from Basel and I'm in love with it. Cheers
Has the craziness finally stopped??
I have been following all of the Black Bay ETA speculation on here for a while now and also just happened to notice LOTS of them for sale on WUS. Many have been for sale for a while now and are even having price drops. So, what gives, did everyone finally notice they are not super rare? Did everyone wake up and notice it was an ETA movement all at once?
