Display Back on Royal Oaks
Does anyone know the reason why AP choose to have display backs on some models of RO while not the others? For example, only the basic Royal Oaks have display backs. The other models with chrono or dual time complication as well as some models with leather strap all don't have display backs. Same for the offshores. Is it to minimize thickness?

PO Orange 42mm 2500d
Greetings to all,Please help me with this question: I am looking for a pre owned (or new) PO 42mm Orange bezel with the latest 2500d. Here is the question...how do I know which model of the PO 42mm Orange has the 2500d? I have read on this forum there are several version of this movement and the 2500d is highly recommended.Thank you.

After close to nine months of waiting and waiting, and salivating over the new watch I wanted so bad but could not obtain. I got a visit from FedEx yesterday!But what could it be????? None other than the Sea Dweller 50th Anniversary SD43!I bought this sight unseen and was really worried about the size potentially being too large for me or the thickness being a problem.I can tell you that for this 7.5 wrist this watch fits PEREFECT! I'm pretty smitten with it right now but bummed that I can't wear it until I get the bracelet resized but I'll manageHere are some wrist shots for ya...
