Hands-On: With the Monoposto, Autodromo's First Mechanical Watch (Live Pics)
A few weeks ago we gave you an early look at the Monoposto, the first mechanical watch from Autodromo, a cool, well-conceived upstart based right here in NYC. Inspired by mid-century Italian grand prix cars, the Monoposto combines serious motoring heritage with very wearable style. Today we give you a hands-on look at this limited edition automatic.At 43mm, the Monoposto is starting to get up there in size, but it wears nicely. The tapered case sits nicely on the wrist and the thin, turned bezel makes the watch appear a millimeter or two smaller than it really is. The wire lugs might make changing straps a little fiddly, but they are pitched at just the right angle to keep the watch sitting nicely. I just love the new look of Omegas. I believe that they have improved tremendously over the years... too bad they are following the foot steps of Rolex with the yearly price increase. This is a New to me PO 2500C. I like this better than the new ceramics.. best bang for the buck divers IMHO

Afraid the Aquanaut is a little too big on me - Opinions? (PICS)
I finally got to try her in the flesh.A beautiful piece but I can't help but feel that the Aquanaut is on the large side for my 6 wrists.The 5167 is the one I actually am looking for. Stainless steel with the rubber strap, however these were the only ones available at my local AD, and I got an idea on how it will wear.I love it but can't help but feel it wears large on my wrists.What do you think?
