IWC Launches Special Edition Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph Ocean Racer
The Volvo Ocean Race is one of the most demanding sporting events in the world. IWC celebrates its role as the Official Timekeeper with the launch of the new Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph Ocean Racer Special Edition. The Volvo Ocean Race is an around-the-world yacht race held every three years. The current race began this month in Alicante, Spain. Over the next nine months, the crews will battle it out on four oceans taking them to five continents, and they will cover a total of 38,739 nautical miles, or nearly 45,000 statute miles. The longest leg stretches almost 7,800 statute miles from Auckland, New Zealand to Itajai, Brazil. While crossing the Southern Ocean, the yachts will face waves up to 100 feet in height and wind speeds reaching 70 miles per hour C conditions that make this one of sailing's toughest challenges. The race will finish up in Gothenburg, Sweden in June, 2015.The IWC-partner Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing team in action. This contest marks the second time IWC ha
Is the 15300 not a good buy anymore? - advice needed please
So I was talking to a friend of mine about it, as a friend's friend has his for sale. A black dial mint condition with box and papers, serviced, and is selling for $13,000.He doesn't think it's worth that much, as it was probably bought around this price years ago brand new.I'm slightly doubtful on how well the prices will retain when the prices for the 15202 go lower.I don't care if there is no seconds hand to be honest, I just can't afford 19K at this time for a 15202, but i'm not sure whether it's best to hold off, save some more money, and go for the jumbo a few months down the line instead.Or just pull the trigger and have the RO that I have been craving for so long and be done with it. Then hunt for my first Patek. What do you suggest?
Omega striptease!!!!
Not what you perverts where thinking this is one of the best buys i have ever made on ebay imho. A mint omega watch close to 40 years old with all boxes and papers for $580. i had put in a budget snipe when this came up.. not expecting to win it and was shocked the next day when i was told i had won it for this price!!!so here is the striptease...and from another angle..take off the next layer and what do we find...and some other garments thrown.. in the form of papersnow she opens up....and the garments are all removed...hope you enjoyed the striptease
Patek Number 2......
In addition to my fine 5167, I had to have one of these.....been admiring them for awhile. Again thanks to DavidSW!!!
Will the 690 return?
I understand the 690 was limited to 500 pieces at it’s release. Is there historical precedence that Panerai always keeps to their number? Could more be released? I know it’s a tough question, as only Panerai execs could probably answer, but its still on the website. What are your thoughts?
