Lunch With Our AP's
I met with kissfromarose for lunch today. We had a lot of watch talk of course. Surprisingly, we found out that we had some people in common that we knew. Our venue has some of the best sashimi in the GTA. We enjoyed every bite. Since this is an AP thread, our respective RG's had some good company too.
What could I trade---
I have a M serial gold daytona... White face.... LNIB... Stickers off... Worn once... What would would be fair trade in the AP family... Looking for something 44mm... What do u AP experts think??
5167 Lume
Does anyone know which lume is used on the 5167? I'm guessing c3 because of how strong it glows, but I'm not certain. Thanks
Has anyone brought home a 5711/1A-011 (White dial Nautilus) yet?
Hi allNew here. Saw quite a few discussion on the white dial Nautilus and quite a few have actually tried them on. Have tried to find it at my local ADs, and grey-dealers are not willing to unseal them for try on.Very much love an owner's review and opinion (if any). Whoever who had tried it on and considered buying it and end up not doing it, any particular reason.Personally, I like the blue dial for it's history, the way it change colour. Similarly, like the white dial for it's freshness and the way it make the watch looks younger. And the worse part is thinking what if they release the black/grey dial (as in the one on 5726) on the Nautilus next year. Any thoughts, opinion is more than welcome.
Where are the Subs, Batmans, and Hulks?
I just spoke with the person I deal with at my AD and asked if there was a shortage on these models. He assured me there is not and it's just the time of the year before Baselworld and Rolex has not shipped. He explains if all hype by Gray market dealers to run up price. I thanked him and asked him in the next email if he had any Subs, Batman's, or Hulks in stock and he said no, not right now, there's a list. Now that was funny.
