Hublot Previews Three New Pieces for Baselworld
At Baselworld 2011 Hublot will present three new watches. The first is the race-themed, 48mm, F1 King Power Tourbillon King Gold Ceramic. Hublot will also present the Big Bang Black Caviar (in ceramic, not diamonds, and not $1 million). Finally, for those seeking something a bit more conservative, Hublot will launch the Classic Fusion Opaline Dial. The F1 King Power Tourbillon King Gold Ceramic is equipped with the tourbillon chronograph movement HUB7300 featuring a five-day power reserve, a special tourbillon cage and a balance with an F1 brake disc decoration along the same lines as the watch bezel, made from ceramic and with a circular satin finish mimicking F1 brake discs. This piece will be produced in a limited edition of 50 pieces,The strap, stitched onto rubber, is made from Nomex, a synthetic fiber developed by Dupont with very low combustibility and its thermostability, making it perfect for the racing suits worn by F1 drivers. Water resistant to 100 meters.Ceramic is an idea
Konstantin Chaykin Lunokhod Watch

While most of his work is in the clock category, Konstantin Chaykin now debuts a fascinating timepiece that he called the Lunokhod. The watch focuses on its novel moon phase indicator, and has a really interesting design that seems to fit with the brand's motto "religion of time" (sounds creepy, I know).Konstantin Chaykin is a very accomplished watchmaker and is a member of the AHCI (where all the coolest indy watch makers want to be!). He seems to specialize in complex calendar clocks, so I recommend you check out his website for some neat stuff. The Lunokhod watch is something else entirely. The name means "moon walker" and it is his homage to Michael Jackson. No, that's a joke. It refers to a Russian un-manned lunar lander that went to the moon in 1970. It also happens to look a bit like Jules Verne sci-f

My Rolex journey 2017
Started the year with a Daytona 116520 black dial.Fast forward to April got the call for a deep sea D-blue. Two weeks later added a BLNR. No more additions till November that's when I added a SD43, four weeks later got the call for a black dial skydweller. Still waiting for a DaytonaC, Submariner LV and a blue dial skydweller.I wonder what 2018 will bring.Cheers!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
