Is The H. Moser & Cie Perpetual Calendar One Of The Original Smartwatches? Their Video Suggests So
Less than?a day before Apple?debuts their highly anticipated?Apple Watch and?presents its full details, high-end Swiss watch manufacturer H. Moser & Cie?wanted to have their say about the whole smartwatch craze. The message is that smart watches have been around not for a few years but in fact for centuries C and, dating back to 1828, they claim they are one of those manufacturers who have been producing them for so long.?The vehicle carrying that message is the beautiful C and indeed very smart-H. Patek Philippe Ref. 5085 Watch Available On James List
In my opinion this is a Patek Philippe watch you just don't see every day. Not sure if it is still being made, but this is a Patek Philippe Ref. 5085 and is quite stunning for what it is. You really don't see a lot of Patek Philippe watches on metal bracelets aside from the sport themed Nautilus. This piece is extremely classic in style, and very legible. The movement is always quite pretty.Interestingly enough there are at least two types of casebacks for this watch. Some have exhibition casebacks and some have solid metal casebacks with the Patek Philippe Calatrava Cross logo on it. Why two versions? I don't think. Not sure if one is more rare than the otherwatches-dealering in a 37mm wide steel case, this isn't a very large watch, but in line with the size of most Patek Philippe classic watches. I love the highly polished rounded steel bezel and very utilitarian feeling hands and hour markers. The hands have thin strips of lume while the hour markers are accompanied by lume squares.
Red dot
I recently picked up the newest version of the speedmaster pro hesalite and although I bought it preowned it still had stickers. I was also assured the watch was never opened (DavidSW) and I trust the guy! But I don't see a red dot! I love the watch and i wouldn't get rid of it or anything like that. I just wanted to know if I should've had one on my speedy. Can anyone comment on whether or not omega is still doing the red dot? There doesn't seem to be much literature out there on this. I've only read a few posts saying omega stopped doing red dots but the majority report having red dots on their casebacks. Some report the dot falls off after cleanings and what not. I'd ask specifically for those who have speedys with serial # starting with 8 or newer 7 serials since we know previous models had them.
114060 on Jubilee?
Hello TRF members. I saw this in Google images. I've seen jubilee on BLNR and Hulk. Does anyone have a 114060 on Jubilee? Is it possible or might this be a digitally altered photo?
