Sent in my 328 for repair
Hello. I sent my 328 in for repair, the minute and hour hands were not lining up correctly. I thought the hour hand jumped a tooth in the running train, but I am not certain. I just got info today that the watch had been sent to Panerai for a partial service and would take 4-6 weeks. I wanted to ask those of you that had dealt with servicing your Pams is the turn-around time fairly quick? Thanks in advance!
How Does the GMT solve this Problem??
I'm currently in Afghanistan, which is 11 AND 1/2 timezones ahead of my home, in San Diego. Yes, it is 11 hours AND THIRTY MINUTES ahead of San Diego. It is odd, I know, and I didn't think that a half timezone existed, but apparently it does.Does the Rolex GMT have a way to make up for that difference? Based on my limited time handling 1675s and 16710s, I would say No. I believe that their dual timezone is based on full timezones, and not half/thirty minute timezones.Anyone have any insight for this? Thanks!V/RMike
List of retailers losing authorized dealerstatus?
Is there such a list compiled over the past few years? Was thinking in my search for a gift for my wife, who would like some of the less popular models, this might be a good channel for finding one at a better discount. I knew of a few that lost their franchise a few years ago, but no stock left. Doesn't matter where they're located as long as it's still a reputable jeweler and will ship.
Rolex get your act together!
We need another teaser ASAP!
