Franck Muller Mystery Watch
Starting with a green spring, moving to the hot yellow colors of the summer, then on to reds of the fall, and finally to the cold blues of the winter. The stones flow on to the lugs, and baguette style stones of all different colors make up the hour markers and with trillion cut stones as the hour and minute hands. The rest of the watch is totally covered in diamonds. The "Mystery Double" (ahem, 'double mystery') part of the name comes from the two discs that moves the hour and minute indicator hands, rather than the watch having traditional hands.
Introducing: The Omega Globemaster Annual Calendar
This time last year, Omega brought out what they would position as the ultimate all-purpose, every day watch in the Globemaster. The watch has a lot going for it as is, but now Omega has upped the ante with a Globemaster with annual calendar complication. 1 OF 2 Now in 41 mm (the normal Globemaster is 39 mm), this new annual calendar features each month of the year in the 12 facets of the trademark pie-pan dial. Then, a thin blued hand points towards the current month, which then instantly jumps at month's end. 2 OF 2 The case remains stainless steel while the polished, fluted bezel is made of scratch-proof tungsten carbide. As with the other Globemasters, the annual calendar features a co-axial, master chronometer certification from METAS. More details, including pricing and hands-on photos, to come.More from Omega here. Don't have the HODINKEE App yet? Another poll..
You guys know about my dilemma on my previous thread (5270G + 5711P or 5131G or 5070P)Now I've pretty much made my mind that I'll get the 5131G if I can't find the 5711P.The thing is, I have found the 6102P Celestial in my dealer here. I'll go check it out this week. I'm pretty sure I'll like it in person too since I've been admiring to it on photos for a very long time. So, my question is, the combination of the first possibility (5270G + one of the other references I mentioned on my previous post) vs the 6102P costs about the same to me.One thing about 5270G is I have been wanting it since I first started collecting, another thing is now it's being discontinued while 6102P is still in production. Please tell me your opinions,Salih
D-Blue and Mcintosh
My first post to show off one sweet watch I received for my 55th birthday from my wife. What do you think, it seems to go real well with McIntosh blue meters?
