Help/ opinions sought recent FOIS Speedmaster
All,Just looking for opinions and advice please.Bought a new First Omega In Space (FOIS) Speedmaster brand new via mail order from a reputable small chain of UK Jewellers. The watch arrived yesterday, perfectly packaged and all looked fine until I put the watch on and I can clearly see the difference in colour between the 2 leather sides of the strap. Also, both sides are darker brown near the buckle end. It really does look like the watch has been in a shop window for some significant period of time and the strap has faded in the sunlight. I have attached photos but the iphone camera doesn't seem to have picked up the difference well - in reality it is much worse.I have contacted the jeweller last night via a polite email and await their response about to doThe number of the watch is low 1,000's which could suggest the watch has sat around at the dealers for some time (recent Omega Forum posts suggest 4k + numbers are in the wild).I am thinking that the dealer should replace the str
Opinions on the Speedmaster Professional
This watch has been in the back of my mind for a long time. I know there are some here that own the manual speedmaster professionals. Do you wish you had gone to a broad arrow or to one of the other speedmasters that are automatic and have a date on it or has a sapphire crystal?I am drawn to it for the history and the fact is is a great looking watch. What are your experiences?
Bracelet Question
Join the PAM club today with a PAM 50. I noticed the deployment clasp is missing the push release button, while others PAM 50 I saw always has the push button. Are there different verdions of PAM bracelet? Mine is a C series so it is around 2000. Was the bracelet difference back then ?

Been racking my brain between the SubC, SubC Date, and the SD43.
I’m having a tough time deciding between the Sub, SubC, and the new Sea Dweller. I read some previous threads and am more confused than ever. A bit about me:-I never look at the date complication on my watch, I don’t even set the date on watches that have it -I do a ton of research and contemplating beforehand, and then never sell any of my watches-I have 6 3/4” wrists-I own an Explorer 1-Comfortable with the price difference between all 3 watchesWhat I see as the positives and negatives of eachND Sub:P-Cleanest dialP-Under the RadarN-Have an Explorer 1 and worry that if I added a bezel and replaced the numbers I’d have a sub. This is the least differentiated from the Explorer. Sub Date:P-Has a bit more differentiation from my Explorer due to the cyclopsP-Bit more wrist presence/visually more interesting by comparison to the ND Sub but still understatedN-I don’t even set the date/look at the date on any of my watchesSeadweller 43:P-Wrist presence- I like t
