Event Recap: Celebrating Baume & Mercier's 2014 Collection Just In Time For Father's Day
Last night we had the privilege of hosting an awesome group of readers and collectors at New York City's Soho House to go hands-on with the latest releases from Baume & Mercier. There were great watches and great conversation in abundance, and Rudy Chavez, President of Baume & Mercier North America, welcomed guests and shared his knowledge of both the 2014 novelties and Baume & Mercier's history. We were all the first to see Baume's #CelebrateDad campaign video, which you can also see below. Thank you to everyone who came and please enjoy this photo report of the evening's festivities. You can see all of Baume & Mercier's most interesting pieces right here. 2 OF 25 3 OF 25 4 OF 25 5 OF 25 6 OF

My TWO new watches!
Hi All,I am now the proud owner of a Omega Seamaster Professional Planet Ocean and a Panerai 000.In a twist of fate, I originally joined this forum to get my first Rolex. I was just a smidge away from pullling the trigger on the DSSD, but in the end I backed away. I have spent hours upon hours on the internet learning about various models to finally decide on these two.Technically, I got the Omega first as I ordered it on Monday, received it only today... But the wait was soooooo damn painful I kept the fire burning by looking at other watches in the meantime. So, even before receiving the PO, last nite, on the way home from work, I went to try on the PAM000 and I pulled the trigger on the spot. Today, I get the call from UPS that they can delivery the PO a few hours earlier than scheduled. In the space of 24 hours, I have two new great looking watches to play with. Like a kid in a candy shop...Once I work out how to upload pics will do...For now, thanks to everyone for their hel
Speculation on 5970 numbers
Hi Everyone,Seeing that most people would ask their Genie for a 5970, I tried to find out how many were produced.Obviously I know its speculation as Patek does't publish number but I found a thread about this and wonder if many of you would roundly agree of disagee with some of their conclusions......firstwristwatch/patek-1/I...continued.html
Pam 233 Owners (or domed crystal watch owners) is this normal? ? ? ?
i bought this NIB. i'm pretty sure this is normal due to the domed nature of the crystal, but i just wanted to make sure. i see patterns in the crystal when the sun hits it at certain angles. see pic. thanks.
