15202 bracelet comfort relative to 15400
In the past I owned a 15300 and the fit was always wrong, one link made it either a bit tight or to loose.I then upgraded (not sure it was an upgrade to be honest) to a 15400 and the same happened, I even bought a 1.5 link and it didn't help all that much.So now I am considering the upgrade (pretty sure it is an upgrade) to the 15202, but I am concerned that the same will happen. I really like the RO, especially the bracelet, but I wonder if I should just go elsewhere or get the 15202.Has anybody had both 15202 and 15400 or 15300 and had this problem?
AP extra 3 year question
Hi gents,Just a quick queation with regards to the Extra 3 year guarantee that you get upon registering your watch on AP website.Does anyone know exactly how this system works? - when is the 3 year warranty effective from? Say, you've purchased your watch today 6th september 2013. The standard guarantee covers it until 6th september 2014. So if you register for your 3 year warranty when your standard warranty runs out, will your extra warranty cover you until 6th september 2017? So my real question is, does it matter when you register your watch? What happens if you register after your standard warranty runs out? Also any cons for opting in for extra 3 year warranty? (I.e when reselling etc)Regards
Just a thought...
I was on the Rolex section just now and read a post of a member brushing out the PCL's on his GMT, don't throw stones at me as I have no intention of doing it on my 5712 which is IMO absolute perfection but does anyone know someone who ever had the PCL's on Nautilus bracelet brushed out? Of course we are not taking into account the legendary wood chopping 5711 or 3700 don't remember which it is.I suppose it would look great, a little more sporty as the PCL's give them a dressy kind of look, if I had a very big collection I just might be tempted to do it on one of the Nautiluses I would have, anyways I won't have a big collection as I am much happier with 1 to 3 piece collection. If anyone has photos of a Nautilus with brushed PCL's would love to see it.
5146g Buckle options
I am looking into getting 5146g and was wondering what the different Buckle options are for this reference . I have seen pictures with round Patek logo cross buckle and also 5146s with a more simple looking buckle end.Which is standard buckle and is the round patek cross buckle a cost option when buying new at the ADmany thanks
Buying a 564 in St. Thomas
Hi all,I am about to pull the trigger and put a deposit on the new 564 that I will pick up at the AD in St. Thomas VI in August.I have had great communications with a rep from the store. I also have done my research here in Canada and it looks like very few will be available. Is there anything I should be wary about in the purchase of the watch never having seen or worn it?? Any concerns on the P5000 movement? etc.Advice please. Thanks
