Pita Barcelona Oceana Diver's Watch: Sounds Delicious, Looks Great
Doesn't Pita Barcelona sound like a hip new Middle Eastern and Spanish fusion cuisine restaurant? Sounds yummy. Actually it isn't even edible (darn, but good restaurant idea), but it is rather a spectacular watch brand. Today you'll hear about my favorite watch in their line, the Oceana Diver. This watch just has so much character I am overwhelmed with desire for it. Really.. let me tell you why you should like it too. Oh, and I don't think it has been officially released yet - they have been working on it for a while, getting it just right. The good news is that the watch is supposed to eventually be available in a host of materials and a few colors (highly customizable). Thus, someone could be having this watch in steel, another in a various shade of gold, and still another person might have a platinum Oceana. The watch will also be available in titanium. Interestingly enough the dial, hands, and strap are all customizable as well. There isn't a list of all the available options yet,

Vintage speedmaster opinion
Hi all,I am new to the Omega subforum and am thus not sure how much of you guys are into vintage Omegas. I have done some (very) basic reading and am still very much a newbie in this area, and thus would like to seek your advice on the watch in this listing.heirloom2/chronograph...nd_GENERATION_I am interested in the cal 321, 2998-6 speedmaster.Could I thus seek your opinions on the piece (pictures are on the site) with regards to parts authenticity, condition and your estimated fair value?The seller is a reputable local one, but I'm still trying to cover my bases and not overpay too much, or pull the trigger on a below-average piece..Thanks all, appreciate it!

Remember Whittles?
If you remember a couple of months ago the email I received from Whittles Jewellers Preston about the details they have asked for and the fact they're planning to hold on to the warranty card for 12 months?Well I'm also on a waiting list for the same watch Hulk (I'm sure many of you are too?) with Pragnells. So I've just had a call from them asking the same details, also asking what I do for a living! They said that Rolex are asking them to do this and that Rolex are telling the AD to keep the warranty card for at least 12 months to try and stop people flipping them.And discuss! Would you pay extra $ for a Daytona with flyback?
Just a random thought after seeing some dressier chronographs with flyback capabilities..With the daytona being a sport watch geared for automotive racing wouldn't a flyback function be a logical and useful complication? Would an increase price be justified with this added complication? I don't think Rolex has ever made a flyback...right? Perhaps they are working on it...obligatory daytona picture:
