Introducing: The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph 45.5mm, Omega's First METAS Certified
The Planet Ocean Collection was first launched in 2005 and has become a mainstay, in the last 10 years, of Omega's sports watch collections. This year Omega has released a brand new Planet Ocean 45.5 mm Chronograph, with a new co-axial chronograph movement (METAS/Master Chronometer certified, a first for Omega chronographs) and in new materials. It's one of three Master Chronometer certified Seamasters in the new-for-2015 Seamaster Planet Ocean Master Chronometer Collection, along with the new Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm Auto, and the Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm GMT. As you may know, the current Planet Ocean Chronograph 45.5 mm features the co-axial caliber 9300 movement in titanium with blue dial and bezel. This year's Baselworld release features a new movement: the automatic co-axial chronometer caliber 9901/9900. Spotted at Sam's Club today
No idea price wise if this is a bargain or not. I spotted it at Sam's Club when we were out and about today.
Three pieces from my collection thats my foundation, whats yours?
I love watches and want to have a big variety of both brands and models but these three I consider the foundation of my collection. Daytona would belong in there but I think it wears a little on the smaller side for me. What do you guys have that you probably have forever?
rolex 16610T-Green or Black-Need help!!!
Recently, I purchased a green Rolex Submariner 50th anniversary.I haven't seen the watch before purchase but the guy guaranteed me that it was original and I can still return it. I received it 4 days ago, It came without the original box but there was its certificate card. On the Card, the serial number of this watch is shown as 116610.Which is a submariner with black bezel. Then I decided to remove the wrist band and check it out by myself and I found out that there is 16610T written on it. When I googled this new serial number there are 2 types of this watch. One of them is with green bezel and the other one is black. How can I be sure if this watch is an original 50th anniversary green bezel or a changed one ? and the certificate it self creates more questions. I showed it a Rolex dealer and he told me that the watch is original but didn't say anything about the possible bezel change. (sorry for grammar mistakes)I'll be thankful if anyone can help me about this situation. Thanks
