AP ROO Rubberclad - Service Question
Hi All,I recently purchased a AP Royal Oak Offshore Rubberlcad. Watch was made in 2007 so I am going to get it serviced. I don't mind sending it back to AP but the band and bezel are in great condition. Are there any watchmakers that you would recommend in the US that I could ship the watch to? Or don't take the airplane to the auto mechanic and do it the right way?Thank you in advance.
Which Patek would you buy if you win 100 million at the Lotto?
Imagine you are the lucky winner of 100 million$, which means that buying a 1 million dollar watch wouldn't leave you living in the street or eating rice and noodles the rest of your life, which one would you get?I would get the 5208p, would love to have a minute repeater, of course it has perpetual calendar, chrono (function I almost never used when I wore/wear a chrono), moon phase, love those things, basically of no use whatsoever, but very nice to look at, and a nice size of 42mm, even if my style makes me go more towards sporty models, must say if I had no limit money wise would definitely get one.But let's stay realistic, chances of winning 100M are not big, so I'm already very happy that I was able to afford a 5712, before I thought buying a watch for more than 15K was madness, as a result I have 7 watches from 7 to 14K, except for my Daytona 116515, that I never wear, so decided to sell all but 1, and buy a really great watch, the 5712, and maybe also a Royal Oak Jumbo, I hope
This Rolex form rocks!
I love my deep blue deep-sea other than the fit was not quite as comfortable as say my yacht Master two. I never realized you could take off the diving extension. I read over the weekend some people on here did just that.Took it in to have that removed just a little bit ago now this watch is much more comfortable and fits perfectly makes me like it even more. What a great community for all of us to bounce ideas ,opinions,And questions off of. Cheers everyone!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
