Azimuth King Casino Watch
The Azimuth King Casino is sure to divide opinion. More sculpture than timepiece, this roulette-inspired wristwatch is part tool, part toy. If you're not familiar with the brand, this model may shock you, but rest assured, Azimuth have previous experience in the bizarre. Where most brands might look to establish a solid set of design principles and stick to them, Azimuth takes an almost inverted approach: if it looks like nothing you've ever seen, it could well belong to this bold brand.Given Azimuth's reputation for novelty, it is quite refreshing that the Azimuth King Casino is a blatant evolution of an earlier model, known as?the SP-1 Roulette. The Azimuth King Casino has built on the traits of its older but smaller brother. The Azimuth SP-1 Roulette measures 35mm across and features a simple roulette game; the Azimuth King Casino is a whopping 45mm across and has built on the function of the roulette game to add a new element inspired by the card game of Baccarat. Both watches in th
Hands-On: The Cle de Cartier Women's Collection
It is not news that Cartier released their new collection, Clé de Cartier, earlier this year. HODINKEE actually did a wonderful review on the men's collection in February – however I want to further explore the women’s pieces in the collection. 1 OF 11 You may have noticed that women’s watches are having a moment. With brands focusing the majority of their marketing towards attracting female buyers, women are wearing watches more than ever. Additionally, fashion editorials are featuring wristwatches in more advertisements and accessory spreads than in previous years, and not just women’s watches, men's watches – think pink-gold AP Royal Oaks and Panerais. 2 OF 11 Cartier is one of the most influential and recognizable brands in the industry and has a rich history of producing classic women’s watches. The chances are very high that Cartier was the first watch brand that you ever heard of – that or Rolex
Orange bezel PO...
I'm thinking of getting a PO with the orange bezel and would really like to have it with the orange leather or rubber strap. Should I buy the watch with the steel bracelet and get the OEM leather or rubber strap to change out the bracelet, or buy ride away with leather or rubber strap?I'm asking because the straps and buckle not that cheap but I really like the looks with leather or rubber. On the other hand I know from my Breitling that the leather only last for max 2-3 years before needs to be replaced and that's why I switched to a rubber a couple of month ago. What do you think or know about the durability of the Omega rubber or leather straps? Thanks a lot for any advise!!
Best his and her pairs
Hi All,I've got an anniversary coming up and am thinking about getting a pair of his and her watches to celebrate this milestone. To compliment my own collection, I am looking at a rectangular watch. At the moment, I am considering two brands, Patek and JLC. I am thinking about perhaps the Patek 5124g for me and the Patek twenty 4 for her or a pair of Jaeger-LeCoultre Reversos. For example, a Reverso One Duetto for her and a Reverso Tribute Duo for me, or the Tribute to 1931 for me and the Reverso One Rdition for her. Alternatively, I could just get her a Vacheron Constantin Patrimony to pair with the one that I already have and get something different altogether for myself. What are your thoughts on these options?I'd also love to see pics of any other members who have paired with the wife.
First Patek - Which Annual Calendar?
Finally reached a point to buy my first Patek.I am torn between the 5396G or the 5205GWhat do you guys think??
