A Week On The Wrist: The Hermes Dressage LHeure Masque
Some of the most original watch designs in recent years have come from a company that’s not, for the general luxury loving public, especially associated with watches: Hermès. However the company actually has a quite long history of offering timepieces under its name; the first Hermès labeled watches were actually sold at 24 Faubourg St.-Honoré in 1928, and the company had, for instance, relationships with companies as varied as Universal Geneve and Jaeger LeCoultre (in fact as recently as 2013, Hermès collaborated with Jaeger LeCoultre in the creation of an Atmos clock) of many years’ duration. Omega Grey Market Dealers near NYC
Can anyone suggest any dealers near NYC/NNJ? I know there are a lot in the diamond district but I always prefer going to dealers that people have actually dealt with personally. I'm looking to get the blue 42mm planet ocean titanium, but don't want to pay up for the pleasure of buying it in the 5th ave showroom. Thanks in advance for the help.

Refund after price increase?
Well, I didn't expect this. Was thrilled to pick up my 5960 from my AD less than 7 days ago and now it's worth $3,800 less. I jumped on board PP from Rolex about a year ago. I currently have two and two more on the way.I did the 'right' thing by Patek and bought from an AD. I've been walking on cloud nine since I bought it, but I'm sure you can appreciate my frustration - especially when you hear from ADs that the price will be going up due to the Swiss Franc, etc.By the incomings, I know there are others that are in this position. Have you done anything about it? Are you going to?Thanks for listening - this was therapeutic :)
Servicing a Patek
How often do you or are you planning on servicing a Patek? There guideline state 3 to 5 years where Rolex recomends 5 to 7 years. Is there any reason there guidelines are for a more frequent service.Do you plan on using any different guidelines than what you do with your other brands in regards to servicing? Is there any difference in the frequency (not price) of servicing a less or more complicated piece?
