3 Things To Know About the Ma?tres du Temps Chapter One Transparence
Ma?tres du Temps the haute horlogerie brand that brings together all-star teams of talented watchmakers to produce original, collaborative pieces, has added to its small but growing collection with the release of the Chapter One Round Transparence, a new version of its flagship Chapter One watch. Here are three things you should know about this extremely limited timepiece. 1. The dial may be nearly as complicated as the movement. The most notable feature of the Ma?tres du Temps Chapter One Round Transparence is its laser-etched,?see-through sapphire dial, which shows off the workings of the watch’s movement, Caliber SHC02.1. It is remarkably thin (just .4 mm) and has more than 20 precision-cut, laser-pierced openings for the anchors that fasten the circular-grained appliqu indices. The minute track, which boasts hand-painted white Super-LumiNova indices, has been multi-beveled in a precise, laborious process. Furthermore, the tourbillon cage, normally incorporated only int
Need your valued opinions!
Hello all, new here to the forum but a long time lurker. Always been into rolex (sub 14060M, Explorer II, both gone), now a DJII fluted bezel blue dial and a sub 114060, but....recently contemplating an AP 15400 blue dial. As many I do have some doubts about the size so I would like to hear your opinionsOfcourse, at the end of the day I should buy the watch if I like it, but would like to hear your thoughts anyway! (and btw, I think the 15450 dial is too small, and 15300 you can't get new anymore..)The pictures are of a rosegold version a tried on at the AD.
AP in the Caymans
I swung by the AD on Grand Cayman Island and checked out their inventory. Thinking about a Royal Oak Chrono, either the all black or panda version. I had heard that the Caribbean was the place to go for discounts but they wanted $18,500 for either one. I haven't done much due diligence on this model, but I experienced some sticker shock & got out of there in a hurry. Maybe I could have negotiated him down a little? Is that what ROCs are going for now? Now I'm thinking of just holding out for the larger version.
Looking for a great AD or Trusted Seller in Vegas/LA for 5712SS & 5726 White Dial...
Evening all,I'll be in Vegas in 3weeks and want to look at nailing down this 5712SS or 5726 White Dial... problem is its a tough trigger to pull without trying them both on side by side. With that being said.. can anyone recommend a Trusted Seller on here or an AD that has both Models in Stock. I know Watch Expo with Paul has them both and gets great ratings it seems on here as well as Yelp ect... but any and all information would be appreciated. Im happy to fly down from Vegas to LA for the day for this.I've tried the 3x AD's in Vegas and all have the 5726 White Dial.. but none have the 5712SS!Let me know.. thanks team!
Milgauss Z-blue dial vs. blue sunburst dials (like those on the sub-c)
Between the Milgauss Z-blue dial and the blue sunburst dial you would find on the YG or TT models, is there any difference in terms of looks, how it's produced, etc? From what I've seen on photos they seem very similar, but it looks like the Milgauss dial can become a lighter blue than the sunburst dial. I've read that the Milgauss dial is composed or has some zirconium in it, hence the z-blue term.I thought I remember reading the sunburst dials are made with gold, but can't seem to find where I read that now. Or are the sunburst dials made using the same process as the z-blue dial minus the zirconium?
