SIHH Preview: A. Lange & S?hne Richard Lange Tourbillon Pour le Mrite
The fourth A. Lange & S?hne timepiece bearing the Pour le Mrite designation combines a beautiful, historically-inspired regulator dial with a fuse-and-chain transmission and a tourbillon with a patented stopseconds mechanism – complications designed to improve rate stability and precision. Find technical details, pricing and wallpaper for this stunning horological tribute inside. The Richard Lange Tourbillon Pour le Mrite pays tribute to Saxon watchmaker Johann Heinrich Seyffert (1751-1817). No other watchmaker can take more credit for advancing precision horology in Saxony. His timepieces were immensely popular among scientists at the royal court in Dresden, and his design concepts influenced other skilled artisans. In 1845, this trend culminated in the establishment of the first German watch manufactory by Ferdinand A. Lange. The regulator Seyffert crafted in 1807 is a particularly attractive example. It is now part of the collection of the Mathematics and Physics Sal

Sell my Panerai 112 to fund a 3570.50.00 Moonwatch
I like my 112 (and my sub), but ever since I saw someone make a comment on here about them being a bit stockbroker 2006 I've kinda been thinking the same thing, especially as its not wondeful with a suit n double cuffs. Ideally I'd like to keep the 112, but financially it's an either or situation.I've statrted to think about the Moonwatch as being a bit more suitable for a 40 something officedweller. It has the dispaly case back and handwound movement appeal of the 112.Thoughts???
PO 8500 Lume Shots
I just took a couple lume shots. Long exposures aren't done very well on my point and shoot, but you get the idea. I love the blue and green lume. Both of my Omegas had better lume than my GMTIIC.Once my other Omega stuff comes in, I will either dig out one of my better cameras (Hasselblad or Mamiya, both with digital backs) and get some better shots for all to see.Rob.

Current collection is this - Thinking about trading in my Reverso 976 and IWC Portuguese chrono for a dress watch/ Precious metal watch. I've always like the the PP 5196, but cant really make up my mind. Also still flirting with Lange, AP and VC. Would there be a chance of a new Calatrava line in 2017 with new movements? What would you get?The options in order of preference are PP 5196 J/G/R/PPP 5205RPP 5296 the clean dial PP 5227 white dialVC Patrimony TraditionnellePP thanks for voting and giving me some ideas!
