SIHH 2015: Baume & Mercier’s New Classima Collection
At SIHH in Geneva, Baume & Mercier presented its redesigned Classima collection. Targeted at entry-level consumers, the Classima line includes men’s steel and two-tone automatic models.The Classima collection’s new watches are 3-hand models with date display. They are built off of a Sellita SW200 base caliber, similar to the ETA 2824. It beats at 28,800 vph and how a power reserve of 38 hours. It runs in 26 jewels.The men’s Classima is 40 mm in diameter and 8.95 mm thick. It has blued steel hands for the hour, minutes and seconds. Applied hour indexes include Roman numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. A date window is at 3 o’clock.One of the defining aesthetic features of the watch is its inner dial, where the silver-colored opaline is engraved with a straight-line guilloch�� design. Chanel J12 Marine Watch
Say hello to my new little friend. Not that Chanel let me walk away with one, but I wanted to. Call me a brand whore but I love what Chanel has done with their watches. Sure I might think twice about sporting a white one around town, but these new J12 Marine watches are pretty impressive. If you recall, the standard J12 watch looks like a dive watch. It is merely a dive "style" piece, based on the core Rolex Submariner design (with a different face of course). Now Chanel released a truer diver with 300 meters of water resistant, a more dive worthy legible dial, some interesting design features.The case is 38 or 42mm wide and in black of white. Still ceramic, the black case is bead-blasted for a matte, rather than shiny finish. Though the white version is still done with a glossy finish. Going after Blancpain's 50 Fathoms or IWC's Aquatimer, the J12 Marine has a sapphire crystal over the rotating diver's bezel. I love that look, but it is not for everyone. Speedmaster Rolex?
Last few weeks I have been putting up some rolexes for sale in a local forum. Together with them, is my moonwatch 1861.14060m, 16750 pepsi, 1601, 16710(single lock), moonwatch.I priced them all at market values(some even slight below market values).90% of the inquiries were for the moonwatch! and some very close to closing.A legend or what? Think I just might keep it a little longer!

Best Entry Level Platinum Leather Strap Patek?
Hey All,Im looking to get a leather strap Patek in the next 6months and was wondering what you thought was the best option in the 30-50k range? Ive looked at 5146p which is around 46k used... as well as 5056p which is 36k used... any other options? Im looking to Platinum as I have a Rose Gold DD2 so looking for something different to Gold.. and I think it'd be pretty neat to have my 1 and only Patek be in Platinum!
