Just bought my first AP (15300)
Hi Guys. So I just bought my first AP the 15300, but since it was purchased 2nd hand I would love to have your expert opinion so I can relax a little more. I have everything from box to papers. The shop is a proper 2nd hand shop, and I have been given 1 year warranty with the watch. The dealer is chronotrade if anyone is familiar with them, they have a lot of AP and Rolex. Bracelet for 5711/1A
Hello, Patek lovers and experts,I have been looking for a 5711 blue dial for some time, but have had no luck in sourcing from AD. I recently have been offered a reasonably-priced one on after-market, but with an odd setup, where the owner has swapped out the bracelet for a custom-made leather strap and would not include the original bracelet. Otherwise the 5711 is in good shape and with all the papers.Hence, I need your advise as toa) is it possible to purchase a new original bracelet separately?b) would there be problems with servicing it later?c) what is the type of discount vs second-hand market price I should look for?Thanks!
Suggestion please... 5235 vs 5980r
Hello...I have been eyeing the 5980r for a while now, but one of the ADs from back home phoned me this morning and offered me 5235 in stock at the moment, or wait for 5980r next month.If you were given this option, which would you pick?A few considerations:- Either piece would be my 1st Patek (and hoping the only 1 lol)- The sales person told me 5235 is much much much (did I say much :D ) more rare and more sought after - hence value will definitely increase more compared to 5980r- 5235 is slightly cheaper than the 5980r- I haven't had a Rose gold watch with brown strap - hence was thinking 5980r- I like both of them, but I don't have the budget to buy both Thanks!
