Parmigiani Celebrates Brazil Soccer with New CBF Watch Collections
When Brazil’s CBF soccer team defeated reigning world champ Spain 3-0 in the Confederation Cup final on June 30, they had at least one Swiss watch company in their cheering section: Parmigiani Fleurier, which became the team’s official watch partner in 2011. At this year’s SIHH, Parmigiani introduced four new watches in two collections inspired by the team and the nation of Brazil.The new watches honoring the CBF (Confedera??o Brasileira de Futebol) include two men’s models and one ladies’ model, both chronographs, in Parmigiani’s sporty Pershing collection; and two pieces in the brand’s versatile Transforma collection, which debuted in 2011: a chronograph and a retrograde annual calendar.The men’s watch, the Pershing Chronograph 005 CBF, comes in a 45-mm titanium case with a choice of either a titanium, rose gold or white gold bezel. Another Safari question
Hello everyone, I've been lurking around the AP forums for a couple of weeks now. I can't stop thinking about purchasing an AP ROO Safari. It's odd because I remember a year or two ago on the Rolex forums WRUW daily threads members would post pictures of Their ROO's and I just didn't get it. They did nothing for me. Now after some time and gaining some more insight from fellow members I think the AP Safari may be my grail. Anyway, I'm a very impulsive person and I do not want to drop close to $18k without putting some serious thought into it. Just curious as to how AP ROO's hold their value as opposed to other luxury brands such as Rolex. Not that I would ever consider selling it but just for peace of mind. None of my WIS friends know much about AP's and I very rarely even see them in the wild or for sale. Any other advice or enabling would be greatly appreciated. Thanks TRF!
