Patek Philippe 175 Auction Interview With Head Of Christie's Watch Department

Auction houses have done very well over the last few years, thanks to the brand's popularity among collectors, when it comes to their rarest and most exclusive timepieces. On November 9, 2014, in Geneva, Christie's will hold its "Patek Philippe 175" watch auction in celebration of the brand's anniversary. This will be an exciting time, as Patek Philippe themselves will hold various celebrations, along with the unveiling of a new ultra-complicated timepiece, and fellow auctioneer Sotheby's will be auctioning off the famed Patek Philippe Henry Graves Supercomplication pocket watch, that is expected to fetch around $17 million. To learn more about Patek Philippe timepiece success at auctions, as well as with collectors, I spoke to John Reardon, the International Head of Christie's Watch Department. Omega Seamaster 2254.50 + Panerai = Winder Recommendations?

It will join my small collection so far containing one other automatic, my 2254.50. My seamaster was serviced by Omega about a year ago and given a clean bill of health and ive been wearing it daily since I got it back. I have never had to let it rest for more than a few hours at a time.Enter my next purchase, I am wondering how to go about buying a good quality winder that can hold 2/3 watches for under $600. I dont want to cheap out on a winder and eventually ruin my movements to state the obvious.. I have been reading here about winders and stumbled across the Orbita watch winder website and used their resource to determine my 1120 calibre movement can be wound bi-directionally and take a maximum of 650 rotations per day. Is this true? Call me paranoid but I am looking for others insights on this Essentially I am looking for any input on anyones succe
