Concord C1 Vintage Chronograph
Angular, functional, faded jeans for the wrist. The C1 Vintage stainless steel case receives a blue PVD coating, giving it a deep gunmetal color. Then it’s placed in a vibrating drum along with deburring chips, water and a detergent compound and subjected to over two hours of friction and rotation. The result is a shotblasted patina that mimics years of wear. Add a distressed leather strap and you’ve got a great looking mean blue time machine. The C1 Vintage chronograph retails for $13,900. Ernst Benz Reminds You To Adjust Your Watches For Daylight Saving Time
I really loved getting this e-mail. It makes sense too. A watch company using daylight saving time (DST) as a reason to send out an piece of marketing e-mail. You'd think more watch companies would do this. I don't really have many people reminding me to do this, and with the new times for DST lately (thanks Congress!), it is more difficult than ever to remember. Being two days from now, Ernst Benz is the only company that took this opportunity to "say hi."What is funnier is the little message at the lower part of the image above, suggesting that if you need help adjusting the watch you should take it in to your local Ernst Benz dealer. Frankly, if you don't know how to adjust your watch back or forward one hour, you need to be hit in the face repeatedly and placed in the same rehabilitation home that they send people on airplanes who need help "fastening their seat buckle." That was kinda lame Ernst Benz, right? But before I complete my tirade on the matter, I will explain that they d

Was quoted today $12,400 for a used RO 39mil chrono with blue dial. The watch looks absolutely stunning and i like the sizing of it better than the newer 41mil models. Should i go for it? Is the price reasonable?
Not another can I wear it...
Hi folks,We my bet half and friend we are renting a Villa in Croatia over summer. My question is, how sand sea resistant against scratches is the 904L from the sub?I will definitely remove the bracelet and wear my LV on a NATO or an Erikas Original. But what about the watch head? My last experience about watch vs beach was a prc Tissot Chrono and it ended pretty scratched. Thanks in advance for the inputs. CheersAlexEnvoy de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk

Have a question for those with the No Date Submariner. I love the idea of having a watch that I can literally wear all the time in every condition. Are late model Subs still designed around durability and hard wear or have they shifted more to the luxury side? I'm not some crazy extreme sports guy but I do a fair amount of travel and water sports. Would love to have a watch that's always on my wrist for the next 20 years.Sorry if this is the dumbest question ever.
