HYT H2 Hydromechanical Watch Unveiled
The Hydromechanical Horologists, aka HYT, have finally released their second watch model after the explosively popular H1 from last year. The new watch is the H2, and breaks new ground in terms of mechanical and visual interest versus merely adding a new complication. Our friends at HYT's media partner Watchonsita offered the full details here for HYT. Before getting all excited about the H2, let's recall what the H1 was about by visiting our hands-on look at the H1 watch here.Earlier this month HYT shared with us a picture of the rear of the HYT H2's movement here. Looking like a robot face, the image was a prelude of a technically marvelous watch to come that was as much about design and style as it was about horology. I tried out the alaska project....
I was in an AD the other day and he offered me a 3570.50 for $3050USD and the list was $4000USD. It also had the trasparent back on the watch. He also had the Alaska Project limited edition and said he'd let it go for $5300USD. It looks sssssso nice. My interest in either is lukewarm since I would have liked to get an LV soon. Thing is I think the Speedy Alaska may be a nice choice since getting it at a later time is probably not going to be easy to find etc. Also having one of 1970 pieces worldwide does have some allure. What do you guys think of the prices? I can probably even save the tax by paying cash...
Regulator 5235G for 2013?
Does anyone have any info on the release date of this piece? I was told months ago that this would be released in late 2013 by Tiffany and Co. in NYC but failed to see it in this year's Baselworld line up or on Patek's site. Any info would be appreciated.
