Now Writing About Watches For Haute Living Magazine
I am proud to announce that I am now the watch editor for the prestigious luxury lifestyle magazine, Haute Living. The magazine is unique for having a series of regional editions which include Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and Miami. There is of course, also a national edition of the magazine. I will writing about a few watches in issue. Those articles will be republished on Haute Living's blog located here. I hope to bring a more interesting and conversational tone to the discussion of luxury watches in "print" arena, with a focus on topics for dedicated watch lovers, and those fresh to the passion.
back to Omega... Ti Speedy
I had some Omegas before. Last Omega I had was PO 8500 that I traded a year ago.. Here I am.. back to Omega. I chose Ti Speedy this time because steel speedy didn't last too long for me.. a bit too heavy with metal bracelet.. I love the subtle blue dial... and balanced weight around my wrist. Leather strap feels pretty high end.. 9300 movement is spot on when I wear it. only a second off for a few days when you put it in winder. Definitely one of the most accurate movements that I've owned. I am glad I did.
The Elusive Panerai 507 Bronzo
After years of longing for this watch I finally had an opportunity to acquire it. It's truly an amazing time piece.993-1.jpg

Bangkok grey store - SD43, LV, Deep Sea, etc.
In Bangkok for a few days at MBK. Ususally don't find much here, but happened across a small grey shop. Lots and lots of goodies :).New: SD43, LV, Deep Sea, all black GMT among a few others.Used: 4 x SS black dial Daytonas, a handful of TT Daytonas, a Kermit, a few LVs, a BLNR, some PPs, some Subs, a GMT Coke, a few GMT Pepsis.Pretty cool to see all in all in one place. I only asked about the price on the new SD43 - about $15,650.
