A Regular Guy Drives A Bugatti Veyron Supercar
The Bugatti Veyron is special.?Launched in 2005, the Bugatti Veyron was, and is, unlike anything else on the road. With an original list price of roughly 1.25 million dollars, the Bugatti Veyron entered the field with an 8-litre W16 engine spinning?four turbochargers and offering 1001 horse power. With grip provided by a Haldex all-wheel drive system, the original Bugatti Veyron was, at its release, the fastest production car in the world, with a top speed of 253.81 mph (408.47 km/h). For perspective, consider that the record bested by the Veyron had been set in 1993 by the 627 hp McLaren F1 - the Veyron was the next generation of speed. 2009 saw the introduction of the Grand Sport 16.4, which featured a removable targa roof, allowing you to enjoy a bit of sun while the cops readied your latest speeding ticket. In 2010, for reasons most obvious (money, power, glory), Bugatti decided that the Veyron needed a little something extra, and upped the ante with an additional 199 hp. Would you make this trade?
As some of you might know, I've had my 44 RG since new. I loved (and still do) the size, contrast in the dial and heft. But.. it is one heavy watch! Considering that I have a YG DDII and a YG sub, I was thinking of swapping the RG for the new ceramic. Here's a pic of the collection for a little juice.
Trade-in PAM 111 for AP Diver?
Hi,I'm relatively new to AP, having acquired a silver dialled 15400ST earlier this year. However, the AP bug has caught up with me again and I am now keen on picking up the 15703 stainless steel diver. However, one watch from the rest of my collection, a Sea-Dweller 11660, JLC Master Control & Panerai PAM 111 has to go to help finance this purchase. I am keeping the Master Control and Sea-Dweller for sentimental reasons and still enjoying the 15400 so the PAM 111 seems the natural choice to let go.Would you say the 15703ST is a vastly superior watch to the PAM 111 or should I just stick with my current collection?
2011 Pricelist
Does anyone have a .pdf? I am looking for a Diver Pro II for my Colt Ocean (18mm lugs) and I just wanted to know what the MSRP is.Thanks!
New Omega Speedy lost 7 minutes of time. Stopped overnight..
This is terrible. My soon to be wife surprised me with a new Speedmaster Professional two weeks ago. I noticed that it lost nearly ten minutes of time the other night. I had the flu or something like it and chalked it up to not wearing it or winding it. Well Monday I wake up and set it then fully wind it and go to work. Yesterday morning I wind it and wear it. I noticed it was seven minutes slow. I had just set it to my cell phone Monday morning as a marker of comparison. This morning it was stopped completely. It kept perfect time yesterday until I went to sleep around 11:30 last evening. I woke up this morning and checked it. It has stopped at 3:55 AM. I moved it and it started running again. It sets and winds smooth as silk. I just don't understand it. I'm not sure what to do. She purchased it online from what appears to be a reputable company. I simply would like a new watch which I don't think is unreasonable. They've informed me that I can return it then they will service it but
